At Bata we make sure our gumboots are made to
the highest standards. To meet the approval of the
NZ standards Association our boots are tested by
an independent laboratory (Lasra). We also carry
out very specific in-house testing on our raw
materials as well as daily testing on the finished
gumboot. That’s why when it comes to quality
industrial gumboots you can’t buy better than Bata.
The sole compound used on Bata gumboots has
been tested as having good resistance to:
•Sheep, cattle and pig manure
•Fish and vegetable oil
•Iso-octane (petrol)
•Sodium hydroxide at 10%
•Sulphuric acid at 30%
•Good slip and abrasion resistance
•Unlimited warranty for any manufacturing defects
